Diana Lee Budde
Associate Professor of Art
Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education, K-12, from Ball State University, 1989, Worked for Kamman’s Art Shops drawing portraits in Sandusky, Ohio and Richmond,Virginia. Earned an MFA in Painting from the University Cincinnati, 1996. While a graduate student at the University of Cincinnati, won a teaching award. After graduating, was hired at the Art Academy of Cincinnati as an adjunct professor to teach life drawing and foundation courses. Has exhibited paintings in a number of national juried competitions and exhibitions. Since 1999, has taught a variety of art courses including drawing, painting, and life drawing at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County.
Max Reinhardt received his BFA with Honors in Ceramics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2001 and his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006, where he went on to teach in the Ceramics and Design Departments for 4 years. In 2011 he left Chicago to teach at the Pratt Institute of Art and Design as a Visiting Artist Professor for 2 years as well as pursue his career as an artist and curator. Max has exhibited internationally and has had solo exhibitions in Chicago, New York City and in Oregon where he moved from recently with his wife Mara to Wausau. He has received many awards, grants and scholarships and is very excited to be teaching at the Center of Visual Arts in Wausau.
