Business Manager:

The Center for the Visual Arts is seeking a full time Business Manager to enhance the thriving visual arts nonprofit serving North Central Wisconsin. The Business Manager would be directly responsible for the oversight and management of the CVA Gift Shop, fulfilling bookkeeping duties, working closely with the Executive Director & Treasurer in regards to financial reporting, the CVA’s social media and website communications, work closely with the volunteer coordinator for scheduling, and facility maintenance. The Business Manager will also directly assist and report to the Executive Director.

The Business Manager will focus on promoting the mission of the nonprofit by seeking unique visual artists for the Gift Shop and serving visitors of the CVA with excellent customer service skills. The Business Manager will also be directly involved in CVA events and community activities such as Chalkfest, Wausau Artrageous Weekend, Wausau Area Events, and more.

Additional responsibilities include the support of CVA databases and correspondence.  The Business Manager will work closely with other members of the CVA staff in performance of his/her duties. The position is full time, reports directly to the Executive Director and will work as a member of the CVA team.

Education/Volunteer Coordinator:

The Center for the Visual Arts is seeking a part time Education/Volunteer Coordinator to enhance the thriving visual arts nonprofit serving North Central Wisconsin. The Education/Volunteer Coordinator will focus on promoting the mission of the nonprofit by providing a visual arts curriculum utilizing the studio classroom and pottery studio to create a comprehensive and credible School of Arts for children and adults. The Education/Volunteer Coordinator would also be directly responsible for the oversight and growth of the CVA volunteer base supporting all facets of the CVA as a Gallery, Gift Shop, and School of Art. The Education/Volunteer Coordinator should have a working knowledge of current social media and website communications. The Education/Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Business Manager in regards to volunteers in the Gift Shop and to the Executive Director in regards to educational programming and other volunteer support.

The Education/Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for proposing and maintaining the education budget and enrollment statistics as well as developing classes and collaborations centralized in visual arts education. Other responsibilities include sourcing visual arts contract instructors, maintaining studio and instructional spaces, marketing & social media communications, community relations, and classroom/project supplies.

The Education/Volunteer Coordinator will also be directly involved in scheduling volunteers for the Gift Shop, Galleries, CVA Events, and CVA community collaborations such as Chalkfest, Wausau Area Events, Artrageous Weekend, etc. The position will develop and implement projects, supervise volunteers and source instructors for community collaborations.
