Friday, April 12th | 5-7pm

Please join us on Friday, April 12th, 2024 from 5 - 7pm as we celebrate our new exhibits;

“Piece by Piece”, For this invitational, we have brought together a selection of contemporary makers to examine their different approaches to quilt-making and the use of quilting techniques. Displayed alongside, representations of quilts in other mediums; to explore how the artist can use the visual language of the quilt to connect with the viewer.

“The Vote, White Noise, and Truth", featuring solo work from Jeffrey Morin. Morin is a printmaker, book artist, and painter. Morin currently is the President of MIAD and formally the Dean of Fine Arts and Communication at UWSP with strong connections to our regional arts community. This display of monoprints focus on a combination of words and the human figure coupled with patterns. Creating a crowd confronting the viewer. You are not being asked to pick a side; you are being asked to let the words sink in, to think about your relationship to them.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
