Students of all abilities are welcome to explore their artistic identity while connecting with others in a supportive community setting. Students will be encouraged to practice their creativity through weekly projects in a variety of mediums. Each week will focus on different topic(s) and/or medium(s).

February 19 - Try It: Intro to Wheel Throwing w/ Mara Mullen

Learn to make a vessel on the pottery wheel in this hands-on workshop for beginners.

February 26 - Introduction to Screenprinting w/ Madison Hager

Learn about making and printing with screens and use premade screens to create prints or bandanas. Or bring your own plain cotton shirt to print on!

March 5 - Meditative Mixing: Beginner Acrylics w/ Olivia Kraucyk     

Explore color mixing and acrylic painting in a calming way.

March 12 - Oil Pastels and Mixed Media for Beginners w/ Olivia Kraucyk     

Explore color and oil pastels in this beginner drawing class.

March 19 - Try It: Intro to Handbuilding w/ Mara Mullen

Experiment and play with clay as you learn the foundations to handbuilding.

March 26 - Fun with Gelli Printing w/ Madison Hager

Create one-of-a-kind prints by exploring the exciting and versatile medium of Gelli plates! This is great workshop for beginners.

April 9 - Tulip Collage w/ Madison Hager

Use discarded gelli prints to make a tulip/flower collage. This is a great continuation of March 26: Fun with Gelli Printing.

April 16 - Strawberry Fields Forever: Watercolor Fruits and Vegetables w/ Natalie Vilter

Experiment with watercolor as you draw and paint free-flowing fruits and vegetables. Take inspiration from poster and album art from the 1960s.

April 23 - Colorpalooza: The 100 Color Challenge w/ Nancy Laliberte

How many colors can you mix? Channel your inner paint mixing prowess while having fun exploring color theory, and applying that knowledge to a finished painting. 

April 30 - Inspired by Gustav Klimt - The Tea House Garden w/ Nancy Laliberte

Learn about artist Gustav Klimt while exploring watercolors with a touch of gold.

May 7 - Cuttings from the Garden - Collage Bouquet w/ Nancy Laliberte

Celebrate spring with a creative mixed media collage bouquet. 

May 14 - Dreaming from the Heart w/ Nancy Laliberte

Pour out your big dreams and fantasy adventures on to the canvas and into your art, while learning about color theory and acrylic painting techniques. 

May 21 - Birds of a Feather w/ Nancy Laliberte

Explore the many wonders of watercolor in a fun and whimsical way while painting your favorite feathered friends.

May 28 - A Walk in the Woods with Wolf Kahn w/ Nancy Laliberte

Learn about American landscape artist Wolf Kahn while creating a unique, tree-filled landscape using chalk pastels.
