Students of all abilities are welcome to explore their artistic identity while connecting with others in a supportive community setting. Students will be encouraged to practice their creativity through weekly projects in a variety of mediums. Each week will focus on different topic(s) and/or medium(s).

• October 2 - Try-It! Make a Bowl on the Pottery Wheel: Learn to make a bowl on the pottery wheel in this hands-on workshop for beginners.

• October 9 - Exploring Gelli Plate Monoprints: Create one-of-a-kind abstract prints by exploring the exciting and versatile medium of Gelli plate monoprinting.

• October 16 - Collage Cake: Cut and rip paper to create a colorful, multi-tiered cake collage using textured paper from Gelli prints.

• October 23 - Bye Week

• October 30 - Colorful Corvids: Explore the many colors of “black” in this fun and creative acrylic painting class.

• November 6 - Drawing as Meditation: Explore various ways of drawing in a calming and creative way. 

• November 13 - The Apple of Cezanne’s Eye: Learn about French painter Paul Cezanne while exploring the still life genre.

• November 20 - Mindful Mandalas: Learn the history of mandalas, and explore the creative process while creating your own unique mandala(s).

• November 27 - Bye Week

• December 4 - Coffee Klatch: Warm up your creativity with a fun and joyful acrylic painting of cups, cups, and more cups. 

• December 11 - Snowpeople at Night: Create your own unique holiday painting inspired by the beautifully illustrated children’s book, “Snowmen at Night” by Carolyn and Mark Buehner.
