Traditional Watercolor Techniques w/ Diane Shabino (September 17 - November 5)
Traditional Watercolor Techniques w/ Diane Shabino (September 17 - November 5)
Dates: Wednesdays (bi-weekly) Sept. 17, Oct. 1, 15, 22 & Nov. 5
Time: 1:30pm-3:30pm
Instructor: Diane Shabino
This class will help you dive into the world of beautiful, high-quality watercolor materials and embrace this medium's fluid, surprising nature. This is a technique-driven class, meaning our focus is on teaching you various methods to manipulate watercolor rather than on completing a finished piece. You'll gain a solid foundation in techniques that will empower you to create your own watercolor paintings with greater confidence. Our goal isn't for you to create a masterpiece in a single session, but to help you fall in love with the creative process itself.
The class is structured in a bi-weekly fashion to give you plenty of time to complete homework assignments and practice new techniques between sessions.
All essential materials will be provided for your use in class and at home, but you're more than welcome to bring and incorporate your own materials if you have favorites you'd like to use.
